Safe at School

Recognizing that a pipeline safety educated fourth or fifth grade population may not be sufficient to deal with a major school emergency, we created Safe at School for the faculty and staff of your school.  Your principal was mailed a packet of booklets to distribute to the school adults along with two posters to raise the awareness of pipeline safety procedures and practices.

Safe at School:

  • Presents information about pipeline right-of-ways, pipeline signs, and indicators of a pipeline leak.
  • Directs information about pipeline safety to school administrators, classroom teachers, school support staff, bus drivers, and parent volunteers.
  • Provides guidelines for establishing a School Pipeline Emergency Preparedness Plan.
